President Donald Trump made a bold move by signing an order that makes it easier for Americans to buy bare-bones health insurance plans. The president used his executive power to help small business' work together to be able to buy cheaper, less regulated health plans for their employees for fewer benefits.
The effects of this change won't be felt by consumers anytime soon. However, President Donald Trump quoted "Today, is the only beginning" during the signing of the order in the White House Oval Office. He also said that he would "pressure the Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare once and for all"
The Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer acused Trump of "using a wrecking ball to single handedly rip apart out health care system." The Democratic State attorneys general also mentioned that they are willing to bring this issue to court if Trump tries to destroy Obama care.
