attending Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy 2017 (CIFP).
“there has never been a graduate
who continued on to be a diplomat although international relations are heavily
related with diplomacy and international affairs”. He said during an interview
with us.
He argues that most of the graduate are lacking
in terms of relations with international relations actors and therefore,
through FPCI he believes that he can widen the scope of the relations that
international relations of UPH has that can increase the chances of them
becoming a diplomat.
We also had the chance to speak
with Arief’s predecessor, Mr. Surya Raditya and talk about his hopes and
expectations of Arief as he began the journey of leadership in FPCI Chapter
UPH. Mr. Raditya hoped that in the next one year Arief would be more active not
only in terms of conducting events inside the campus but also can act as the
bridge for students of UPH and international relations related event outside
the campus. He also said that Arief must uphold the spirit of excellence in
managing the FPCI Chapter UPH Secretariat.
We wish nothing more than to see FPCI Chapter UPH under
Arief’s leadership can bring a positive impact not only to UPH International
Relations student but also to UPH in general and to Indonesia.
