U.S. Air Force B-1B flies over the Korean Peninsula

On late Tuesday, the U.S. military flew two strategic bombers over the Korean peninsula in a show of force, while on the other hand, President Donald Trump met defense officials to discuss the possible solutions in response to threats, especially from North Korea.

Two B-1B supersonic bombers were joined by two F-15K fighters from the South Korean military after leaving their base in Guam, said South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff on Wednesday. This show of force was meant to deter any North Korean aggression and was part of the drills with South Korean fighter jets.

According to the release, after entering South Korean airspace, the two flying jets that carried out air-to-ground missile drills in waters off the east coast of South Korea, then flew over the South to waters around China to repeat the drill.

Tensions soared between U.S. and, North Korea, as Leader Kim Jong Un took this event as a preparation of war by the United States. In response, Pyongyang has threatened to send missiles around the waters of Guam.

The drills were conducted short after last year’s september leak. 235 GB of military documents were taken from South Korea’s Defense Integrated Data Center. To pour more fuel in to the fire, South Korean analysts say that the nighttime flights, and the decisions by Washington and Seoul to release the itinerary of the warplanes, are aimed at sending clear warning to Kim Jong Un, also demonstrating the capability of surprise attacks if North Korea decided to plan for war.

Defense and guard are raised by South Korean and U.S. government officials since the North Korea unstoppable threats to the international world. Another thing that fuel their tensions were the rumors that North Korea hacked U.S. and South Korean wartime operational plans that include numbers of plan such as securing and eliminating target, which is Kim Jong Un.

All parties have been increasing their security and defense system since the U.S. and North Korea cannot seem to stop exchanging threats.
