Trump vs. News Station

Trump Vs. NBC News
The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has never stopped doing controversial. Trump recently criticized some news stations deemed to have delivered ‘fake news’. It was spoken by Trump via Twitter on last Wednesday. Trump even declared he would challenge the license of the news station if they were proven to deliver fake news. It then continued after Trump re-tweet on Thursday night about the credibility of two news stations, NBC and Networks. Trump considered that NBC and Networks had provided fake news, Trump also challenge them to revoke their license.

On the other hand, NBC spokeswoman Hilary Smith chose not to comment. Lately, the extension and checking of news station licenses is done regularly. The station may be deemed unfit and its permission disarmed if it proves to have spread fake news, as Trump claims.

However, Harold Feld consumer group of the Public Knowledge said it was difficult to be proven. Feld also said that even Trump revoked the NBC license, it would not have any effect on NBC's broadcasting rights. According to Feld, only threats that can suppress NBC news coverage.

Previously Trump also criticized the freedom of the press in broadcasting news. Trump expressed disgust at how the press could write anything they wanted to write. In response, Nebraska Senator, Ben Sasse, from Republican who often criticized Trump's actions, questioned whether Trump would violate his presidency oath to covering the protection of the 1st amendment.

Hmm…. Trump is not a trump if he stops doing controversial actions. (Dimas Prihartono 00000017341)
